FWIW.... I had a Troy AR with this stock, quite a comfortable stock to use.

If I buy one I'll give it a whirl, but I can't hit consistently much past 800m with my current ammo / rifle setup.

I am not sure what .308 you shoot, but I think 1600m (one mile) is not realistic. I am comfortable shooting a bolt action .308 accurately to a max of 900m. While using a mortar approach, I am sure I could lob a projectile to hit the earth out at 1600m, the .308 was never really designed or intended to be a "one mile" round.

I would expect a semi-auto to be accurate out to 7-800m ... just my thoughts. Others who use their .308s for PRS will be able to tell us more.

Don't worry, this isn't my info.

Comes from Todd Hodnetts magpul precision rifle videos, if anyone is trustable for long range. It's that guy. Had T haley shooting out a mile with his AR gas gun, .308. Easy. Not shooting artillery style either.

A lot of the old school thoughts on how far you can shoot each caliber accurately, is just that. Old school, and outdated.
