Timing - how long it will take now?

    Hi

What is an expected current time lag from a CFO's approval of a transfer to the actual HG's shipping?

    Thanks!

What province are you in? Are you talking about making a purchase now for a restricted rifle? Or you have a pending transfer from a handgun purchase before the transfer ban?

Ontario (as Toronto is till there ...) ... ordered end of August, CFO approved transfer a few days ago ...

the question is about shipping timeline AFTER the approval (and the seller is aware of it) ...

I just had one approved in Manitoba. It was 6 months less a day.

My purchase from another vendor was 2-3 days but i flipped them my transfer approval. Some businesses i know were not receiving the transfer notice from the CFO so I would reccomend you email the business your approval.

There is - plenty of posts with actual transfer number and dates posted.
Do you search on CGN instead of asking and making again a post about a subject really well covered.
You will find all your answers and be able to follow real life progress.
The Ontario CFO is about mid August 2022 now…

I don't think SLToronto is asking how long the transfer will take.

They are asking how long will it take for this vender to ship their firearm

    once the transfer is complete.

If this assumption is correct, follow Helka's recommendation in post #5.

Yeah, except a REAL answer .. a perfect demo of functional illiteracy of way too many ...

    Again:
    1. Transfer approved by CFO a few days ago
    2. the Seller - TI - knows about it ...
    3. Everything , including shipment and insurance, is paid for months ago ..
    4. Question - how many days (weeks, months) will take to actually ship the order? still pending ... and no reply to direct e-mail ...

From my previous 2 dealings with TI (both NR), it took 8 days from placing an order to shipping for the first order and it took 4 days from ordering to shipping on my second order, it really depends on how busy they are. In my case where it took 8 days they sold 1000(?) type 81s in a matter of a days. Hope that provides you with some insight. Keep in mind this excludes the 5 day transit time from their Alberta warehouse to south Ontario.
