The Liberal Party Is Going To Ban Assault Weapons

As some of you may have noticed PM Blackface Trudeau announced this morning that the liberal party intends on banning assault weapons and allowing cities to ban handguns. He also said there will be a buyback. This is a very vague and can mean a lot of things, but here is what we know:

1. Assault weapons = ALL MODERN SEMI-AUTO RIFLES.
2. No definition was given for what an assault rifle is. This is intentionally vague.
3. Many cities will try to ban handguns
4. A buyback will give you very limited amount of money.
5. This is a serious threat to all hunters and sport shooters.

Here's what everyone who owns a gun needs to do:

1. Write to your Liberal candidate in your area and tell them you do not support a gun ban in any form.
2. Write to your Conservative candidate in your area and tell them you do not support a gun ban in any form.
3. Tell your friends and family that you don't support a gun ban.
4. Don't vote for a gun ban.
5. Join the CCFR

It was the party platform before the leadership race. It was promptly removed when Scheer won.

The platform also stated moving the AR15 into NR class.

It's going to be semi-autos with a detachable magazine.

Anything "black" will be banned, including IMO, the Mini14/30, WK180C, VZ, and the ATRS, Stag10, etc.

AR Pistols will be banned as well I would think.

Respectfully, no. It's always time to make our voices heard, and sending letters to candidates is one medium for doing that.

What kind of information do you need? How long will you keep your handguns if a municipal bylaws fines you 500$/day per handgun? And do you really think an AR pistol would not be banned if AR rifles are? If so you're terribly naive.

The writing is on the wall: if the liberals win and that thing passes, it's the end of everything that is currently a restricted firearm, and possibly everything semi-automatic. You will be left with pump shotguns and bolt action, and that's just what they'll go after in round 2.
