The sheep will suck it up hook line and sinker. How many times do we have to repeat, “gun control is not crime control”. This is all about knee jerk politics, supported by the bought and paid for media leading the live stock down the path of progress. **gag choke puke**

God gave us the right to defend our liberty and our lives from tyranny and genocide -- the Founders of the U.S. government recognized that right through the 2nd Amendment. The 2A is a restraint on government NOT the other way around. Defending yourself from tyranny and genocide is a human right no matter which country you live in - we all have it.
It's not going to make anyone vote for them that wasn't already going to do so. I hope it's a wake-up call for people that were on the fence about voting PPC rather than CPC (or even voting at all) about what's at stake.
Of course, once they're elected, they can choose to completely ignore the promise altogether. Maybe they'll realize it's a $1b proposition to buy all the guns back and they get cold feet. We can't do anything about it now.
What we can do is GOTV for the Conservatives. Talk with the Liberal candidate in your riding and explain that you're disappointed in this policy because it doesn't do anything to address the actual sources of gun crime in Canada. They accuse us of being selfish and picking our hobby over lives. We have to flip that narrative around.
