So if they decided to not go after all of our handguns as stated earlier after their little cross country waste of time and money survey because it was going to cost them over 2 billion dollars, what happens now if they pass that buck to the provinces or municipalities? Is is up to them to come up with the money? Are they passing the buck to them now, so it will be done, but it won't come out of Federal money!? From what it sounds like, they will be going after ALL ex-military rifles, and and others of that type/style! I'd love to see what that is going to cost!!!!

What a god damn joke this whole thing is!!!!

He had better get his ass handed to him in another month, or it's going to be just like New Zealand, only not quite as bad at first. It will get there though. They never stop! They will squeeze every vote out of banning guns as they possibly can, then move onto the next thing.

10:40 - CBC replayed Bill Blair's speech on the AR designed specifically for killing, CBC states as if this is happening in Canada that 'this weapon was used in several mass shootings over the years then state 'nobody needs this type of weapon'

11:41 - Justin comes out, tells everyone we get to decide what type of country we will choose to live in in October. 4 years ago Canadians choose the liberals because they value safety. We have work to do and move away from Harper years. Unemployment is way down. Our team reject conservative cuts and choose family's.

11:45 - He things of the family who have lost loved ones to gun violence. Harper made it easier to purchase firearms and we reversed this. We did background checks and sheerer is going to scrap this. Mentions a bunch of the victims examples. 2500 more victims then the year before. Scheer looks at numbers and wants to make it easier to purchase guns. he wants people to be able to buy guns without showing license.

11:47 - Ban military assault style weapons (military grade weapons were the exact words) and buyback all that were legally purchased. Work with provinces to allow municipalities to restrict handguns.

11:48 - They will not bring back registry. Respect farmers and hunters. Military assault weapons are not needed for deer.

11:49 - Remove violence messaging and advertising glorifying war? (it was in french.) People are dying and communities are suffering. Thoughts and prayers are not enough. Liberals are for tougher gun laws. Conservatives are for weaker gun laws.

Questions

Vast majority of handguns are not legal top own without heavy restrictions. Bans would do little for violence why are you not banning handguns country wide? - banning assault weapons is important step and increasing safe storage of firearms. We also heard very clearly that cities want to have more tools to restrict handguns. Give them all the power to do that.

The mayor has talked about smuggling at the border what will you do? - Harper cut border security but today is about banning military assault weapons and handguns

Premier doug ford would oppose a handgun ban in Toronto. How would you help the cities with the provice against? - we will work with everyone to allow citys to ban handguns. Many conservatives thing we should weaken gun laws. We should listen to john tory and other. We will work with them and provinces to help them get what they are asking for.

So if the municipality bans handguns... I have to move? what if all the municipalities ban them from the region? What if I have to move and lose my job because of it? I'll be compensated by the government?
 
Mr. Black Face and his puke lackey Blair will decide what is and isn't an "assault weapon". I think it is going to be a pretty broad classification, not just the AR-15 platform. This is the result of electing another Trudeau, closer to the family goal of a communist society.

Anything that is semi auto will be classed as an assault weapon, right across the board.
 
So he knows a handgun ban will not work (leave it to the municipalities). It would fail
The Ar 15 is not an issue in Canada so he has nothing to prove. As far as the buyback it will probably be fair market value for the lower alone. Not that expensive since there is what 20 000 ar’s around.
If he was to go after handguns it would be huge money

Exactly right ! Central storage in the major cities is where safe storage is heading . No doubt firearm owners will have to pay to store their firearms at the govt. run central storage .

detachable box magazine is going to be one of the main factors, imo.
 
Knowledge is power. I hate to say it but people that don't understand guns and gun laws and the stuff we've had to do to get our licences, Are scared by guns. Its our job as a community to teach them and show them there's nothing wrong with guns in the hands of legal

licenced gun owners. I know people need jobs and compensation for there time, but if we made all firearms classes free for people, that would give us another chance at teaching the unknowledgeable. It would also up our numbers as a community. Then the CFO can

decide if there worthy. I know there's probably some holes in this idea but its just an idea. Ive never voted in my life. This year I will. I hate what's happening out there, so hopefully my vote will make a difference.

My sentiments exactly. I am more shocked at the level the general populations IQ has dropped to which resulted in this clown of a human and his party to lead this country than I am by the actions of the party.
It's literally disturbing that people are that dumb on such a large scale and that easily manipulated. It would be satirical if there wasn't so much at stake....

Public school and the MSM have destroyed most of the last few generations.
 
Now is the time to get organized. Get some like minded friends, make sure you're all well equipped and regulated. Militia forming in the sense of having a bunch of friends get together with firearms and gear to go shooting isn't necessarily illegal per se, but unlawful drilling is. Be informed, and organize accordingly.
