    Someone else said it, and if you look again- there’s 75k AR 15 individual owners. That’s not firearm numbers, but just the number of owners. The number of registered rifles would EASILY be double that.

    That's not what the first page says.
    That data comes from the firearm rows of the firearms registry database, and it's counting firearms. It's not counting owners.

    In 2012, there were about 900,000 non-restricted semi-automatic rifles, and about 30,000 restricted semi-automatic rifles. registered.

    Add to that, this:

    I just find it hard to believe those numbers are so low- some months on the EE it seems there are 75k ARs for sale!
