Good afternoon, all. I am a hunter of 30+ years. My father, who was my adult-life hunting partner, passed away last year, and I've had to step in to assist my mom in dealing with all the usual things that come with one's passing, including dealing with selling some of the firearms that dad had acquired over the years that are no longer needed. A new hunter friend of mine introduced me to this website today, as while I know enough about firearms et al, it's difficult to know how to proceed when you've never actually had to buy or sell such items, because it's not something that everyone in my circle of influence understands or appreciates. Dad was always the one to let us use his rifles for hunting, purchase or reload ammunition, and such. I'm having to educate myself mid-life now that he's gone. It's not a hard job per se, but I sure will miss him, and our times hunting the hills and valleys of British Columbia.
In any event, as I now look to update, add to, or divest, some of the hunting equipment that is now my responsibility, I look forward to being a part of this website, and am glad to have been referred to it.
