Have you looked into the new Hunting Report Rules?

We've done the legwork for you if you haven't!

Make sure you're educated on the new rules, because failing to file a report now comes with a big fine, and could penalize you from getting tags in the future.

Wonder if these "rules" apply to natives as well?

We are all equals, but some are more equals than others.

I'm not sure, they didn't specify anywhere, but I know the reports are linked to tags, so I guess it would depend on what land you're hunting on? I believe hunting on land that is covered by treaty rights Indigenous hunters don't require a license or tags. I would recommend calling in to confirm, but if you legally hunted without a tag you probably don't need to report. Hunting outside of territory requires a hunting license and tags though, so those would need to be reported.

The National Resources Information and Support Centre would know for sure (1-800-387-7011)
