    Had the itch for a new ruger 44 mag semi auto. That would be a great little rifle. Also a 500 s&w for fun lol

    I would love either a 44 mag semi-Auto like the old Deerfield, or a compact lever style like Ruger used to make. I like the compactness and utility of it and in stainless steel with an aluminum receiver it would be an awesome rifle for trapping and bush hunting.
    No tube magazine. Removable box mag. One piece stock. Even with a standard 5+1 magazine capacity it would be close to my ideal rifle for a lot of work and play in the forest.

    It would be cool if Ruger made one that took Desert Eagle magazines in .44.
