Its a positive improvement as lack of a gate is a deal breaker for me. I get that they went with one of their traditional style rifles to start, but I hope they expand to include other models like the all weather and steel receiver rifles. I have no interest a rifle with a brass receiver or metal buttplate so will wait and hope for other options.

Lol I actually bought a Henry 357 specifically to hang on the fireplace. They’re such nice looking guns. I’ve shot it a few times of course (and it’s awesome) but usually I just grab the beat up marlin when I’m going shooting.

    Henry Warranty Rant!

Don't get sucked in by the 'amazing' warranty claims advertised by Henry. This is not the USA, we get to deal with Grech.

Henry's really look nice but i don't like the safety mechanism in it. I wish they would use a cross bolt or tang safety instead of the sliding bit of soft metal in the hammer that's connected to the trigger.
