The buffer tube hole is a blind hole. And it's intentionally not lined up with the bolt.

They're doing all of this to make this gun as difficult as possible for someone to ban.
And under the circumstances; I hope everyone can appreciate that this is their prime directive.

I get the idea behind this and as much as I would prefer spring assisted, I'll accept this spring-less mechanism. However, looking through the viciousness of recent OIC, there is nothing to stop the current regime to make up a reason to ban it. The people in power combine moral values of every single dictator on this planet.

No it's not. This uses STANAG pattern magazines which are limited to 5 rounds.
