They're intention is to make this a true manual-action receiver.

They have intentionally left out any springs, or even a place to put a spring.
The buffer tube hole is a blind hole. And it's intentionally not lined up with the bolt.

They're doing all of this to make this gun as difficult as possible for someone to ban.
And under the circumstances; I hope everyone can appreciate that this is their prime directive.
Unless they go full NSW and ban via cosmetic appearance
Came for the guns, stayed for the tits

This is very interesting, particularly in .308.
Have there been any accuracy tests with the prototype in .223?
    Thanks.
Ounces leads to pounds, pounds lead to pain.
Light, strong and cheap - pick two.

I get the idea behind this and as much as I would prefer spring assisted, I'll accept this spring-less mechanism. However, looking through the viciousness of recent OIC, there is nothing to stop the current regime to make up a reason to ban it. The people in power combine moral values of every single dictator on this planet.

They’ve already done this, Blaze 47 was banned just for the way it looked.

Sorta, but not really. It was banned because it was advertised as a 22lr AK47.

No it's not. This uses STANAG pattern magazines which are limited to 5 rounds.
