REGISTERED FIREARMS BELONG TO THE GOVERNMENT.
It's good to hear of the testing. Especially in reliability. NEaa barrels we're good for accuracy, just some old issues with port sizes. I never had feed Ramo problems, across 556 and 7.62x39.

I bought one of the earlier NEA-15s and ran it alongside an S&W M&P15.
The NEA was having feeding problems with the range of mags that were feeding it. As well, the NEA had a tendency to fire, extract, reload and fire again when the trigger reset...double clutch if you will. A little disconcerting - particularly on a range where LEOs are known to frequent.
The S&W on the other hand digested every round, no failure to feed, no failure to go into battery, no failure to extract...with the same magazines I'd used in the NEA.
After comparing the feed ramps (NEA vs S&W), it was clear the NEA weren't MilSpec(ish) and I sent the NEA15 back to NEA for repair.
It was done in a timely fashion, with a new barrel, and from that point onwards, the NEA has run fine - no issues...about 2 years ago before NEA was bought out by BCL.
As for the double shot trigger - I dropped in a TriggerTech which solved THAT problem.
So yes - first generation NEA15s had issues, and in my experience have lived up to their warranty under both NEA and BCL labels.
