Install your low profile gas block backwards. If you have an A-frame gas block you will need to plug it. No modifications to the barrel should be required. We will provide instructions.

What if redirected those port gases and put them to use somehow... Could you... Could you use them to help cycle the action somehow?

Love the idea and the name. With a straight pull, how compact can the BCG be? Does it need to use the buffer tube or could you put a folding stock on?

The BCG is about 1/2 length. The buffer tube threads are not even drilled all the way though. It could take literally any type of stock. We opted for the buffer tube system since people will have one if they convert their AR.

It is not, but we are waiting for it, unless everyone is willing to sign a waiver that states if the gun is declared prohib they send it back to us for destruction without refund.

Well why would we need to send it back and why would you be keeping records of guns sold and to who? You think ATRS is going to come collecting all their sporters if the turd bans them?

You misunderstand.... If we're selling a gun with an FRT that means the RCMP have given it the a-ok. Should legislation be passed that changes that, we're not responsible, we designed a gun to meet the requirements at the time. However, if we make a gun and sell it without an FRT and then the RCMP decided during the FRT evaluation it is in fact prohibited we would be responsible to get the guns back, therefore we would need to keep track of them. Unlike the WK180C, our gun is a 100% novel design. It's not a variant of an existing Non-Restricted gun. While I am 100% certain it will be Non-Restricted since it's a bolt action, and can't be converted to anything else, as a company we have decided to not sell it without an FRT.

Assuming they are AR pattern they would be limited to 5 or 10 Rounds as they would be declared dual-use. No loop hole here I am afraid.

Magazine is limited to the rifle it was designed for, this is a new bolt action rifle. If Spectre decided to design a mag that fit this lower they could make whatever mag capacity they wanted. If it just happened to fit AR style semi autos that would be a coinsidence nothing more.

Another idea: would it be possible to make the lower receiver dimensionally similar to AR, minus the buffer tube? E.g. flat rear end with an adapter for standard buffer tube or a folding stock. It would make it compatible with existing AR upper receivers, after some modifications to cycle the action.

If it's compatible with AR uppers it's an AR and this is a non-started.

The design is not changing, this is what we are running with. Minor changes may be made to facilitate production and improve reliability.
