Action: Gun Ban is a Western Alienation Issue

Thank you for all the opinions and expressions on the general topic of firearms politics.

This thread is not about why there should be a Wexit or going in circle as to why the Liberals do what they do , this thread is about providing an actionable item so everyone can participate immediately for effect on the Liberals election promise concerning firearms and gun bans.

The simple actionable item right now is to get your western MPs and MPPs to take the gun issue to the discussion between the Federal government and the provincial representatives of both the Federal ridings and the Provincial premiers.

Sadly, my MP and MPP are both NDP. They have come out as anti-gun. Perhaps a letter reminding them that not all their constituents voted that way!

Perhaps, in that letter, tell them they have a right to defend life, liberty, and property with whatever firearms they deem appropriate in their circumstances.

That you will do everything in your power to defend their rights.

That you would appreciate it if they showed the same respect for you.

Action speaks folks. If you sit and take it they will keep dishing out this #### and not blink an eye. Call, write, email your MP-MPP and take this battle to the ass hats in Ottawa. THEY WORK for US and I remind them of that all the time!

The climate kids are suing the federal government claiming officials are violating their rights to life, liberty and equality by lack of action..... perhaps there is a case to be made that targeting licensed gun owners with preemptive punitive action, with no evidence or facts to back up the proposed legislation will violate the same rights.

If you are not in the western provinces, please emphasize to your MP the need to include the western provinces and the importance of unity. This is the best way we have on table to repel the Liberals gun ban platform.
