For those who don't know about WEXIT BC, just input WEXIT British Columbia into Facebook search engine and results will come up with option to join the movement.

I'm not on Facebook, and looked up Wexit Canada instead.

I read their platform, and while it has some great stuff, it also has absolute CRAP.

PLATFORM

Invest in communities through subsidy of dental care, non-generic prescriptions, youth sport, conditional student loan forgiveness, and qualified higher education via resource royalty revenue.

Assist Western Canadian First Nations in compensation claims against the Federal Government and institutional partners for genocide and other abuses.

Outlawing groups whose primary objective or effect is racial agitation, or social chaos.


Adoption of a Western Canadian National Currency, backed by resources, and balanced by citizen debt nationalization and student loan forgiveness.

I see this is also the platform for Wexit Alberta, and Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

I have huge problems with using taxpayers $ to subsidize ANY sport, or student loans, or higher education. I also don't like what appears to be the continuation of the apartheid system of "First Nations" and the rest of us, as well as the notion that we should pursue "compensation".

Who determines what constitutes "racial agitation" or "social chaos"?

It is UNacceptable to suggest that citizen debt be nationalized.

My takeaway after reading;
A group of College students with too much time and daddy's money, .... armed with enough head-knowledge to be dangerous, got busy on the key-board and have been successful in baffling some brains.

I don't know of any legitimate groups per se. I correspond with some people (see post #170 of this thread), but so far as I know, they are not politically organized - thus far.
