MDT and JAE

Without their absolutely retarded prices and wait times.

Yah, I typically kind of admired JAE from afar, but their prices never seemed justified for anything, as their competition had better product at lower price points. MDT chassis were always great and I'll keep buying them, but JAE will only get a chance when they come back to reality with their pricing.

JAE announced very recently that they were closing their company down completely so it would make sense that someone might have bought them out in the end.
I was always a fan of their products but agree, their pricing started to get unrealistic when their m14 chassis jumped in price by 400+ a few years back.

Great move! Hopefully the price of those chassis systems can be brought down to a more reasonable price..... :)

I think as the owner of the assets, it will be an 'original' . No license needed and certainly not a copy as it will be produced on the original machinery?

Excellent news, I have a build-in mind already.

Candocad.

^^^ The JAE design is very good already. Hoping you will keep it as is and focus on getting the pricing more realistic ?

It's very early into this project for us; we are hoping we don't need to change anything. We shall see, and yes, pricing is a huge part of this for sure.

I might have to grab one of these for my M14 clinics to show case them! Most interesting!

Cheers, Barney

Awesome!

So this means that it will be licenced copy?

No, we purchased the designs and tooling. It now an MDT product.
