    Lay the rifle flat with the ejection port facing up and a magazine half way in and slowly pull the Bcg out. If you pull slow enough, it wont fly out but rather fall out of its place.

    Or you pull the bcg with the ejection port facing down, that way it has nowhere to go.

    I also found if you fill that slot with grease it will help prevent that sucker from flying off

    Ive found the grease helps in keeping the spring in place, but also attracts a lot of debris from the blowback action.
    I have been cleaning mine every outing so have not faced an issue yet, but can see it being a problem at some time.
