Anyone ever hadthe firing pin fall out of their WK?

I haven't even fired it yet. My buddy and I were cycling and exploring the gun and the pin fell out. The little cotter pin that hold it together fell out and released the firing pin. We fixed it but now Im worried that could happen while actually firing it. WTF?

The pin needs to be installed from the left side to the right. If you push it in from the ejection port side, eventually it will fall out. I've seen some wk's with this issue. Not sure if its from user error during reassembly or from factory but luckily its an easy fix. Take the bolt out of the gun and install it from the left to right. Hope this helps.

My WK had this issue. The firing pin ejected due to the retainer coming out.

Kodiak Defense sent a new retainer and didn't really work. Later I tried a thicker AR15 retainer and got the job done.

I bent it a bit and lined it up north-south, left to right. It cant come out now but that was a little stupid. Design flaw? I believe a studier cotter pin would work as well.

If anyone is having any issues at all with their WK, they need to contact Kodiak about the issue.
