Part of an email exchange from Styria Arms...

Higher price than the trigger guards for Remington etc but it`s a patented item, milled from a block of solid steel, hardened like a Glock slide and the only available trigger guard for SSG69.
All SSG69 owner are traumatized about breaking plastic trigger guards and mags

In the attachment a picture. The original plastic trigger guards always break at the screws - then they loose their tension and the gun it`s accuracy. The recoil lug is in the rear so with every shooting the screw is hard pressed against the plastic by recoil.
Worsed situation is with wooden stocks. There, first the plastic breaks, than the wood inside. And new stock for the steyr hunting rifles = carving and hand made = very expensive.

Since you guys are taking over for the Steyr Distribution, any chance of seeing the A2 MFs come in?
