Any word on development of a short GSG-16 barrel?

Another question, exposing my ignorance - how is the GSG 16 barrel attached? How difficult would it be to swap out? Is it as simple as a 10/22 set up?

Odd as it sounds I would like even better for me to have an 11" barrel. That way I could run the collapsible stock and have it pinned to the full extended position and the mid position. That mid position would allow smaller folks like kids and my wife to shoot it with the shorter LOP. The barrel wouldn't look as good with it sticking out a full 3" past the upper but it would be functional for my needs.

Would be great if your customers had a choice of 9" or 11", plain or threaded.

Im thinking skinny underneath the handguard and then just thick enough forward of the front sight tower for 1/2x28 so i can fit a 3 lug adapter on it

My only queation will be, what kind of barrel blanks you will be using? I believe the factory barrel is a lothar walther barrel

Hey guys, I'm in Austin right now for the F1 Grand Prix so can't speak to Joe in depth about this. I will be back on Wednesday and will hash it out with him then.

I'd buy one too. Already have my own 3lug 1/2x28 adapter so a 9" tapered with proper threaded shoulder would be an instant purchase. I'm actually holding off purchasing a GSG16 because I dislike the current barrel and stock.

I'm definitely down for a couple of them because to my knowledge the issc mk22 and gsg 15 take the exact same barrel so I could put one on my mk22 as well as my gsg 16
