You can either pin the stock or even better get a Airsoft MP-5 fixed butt stock and be waaaay cool. One of the best looking guns ever made imho...
I guess this is more along the lines of the answer I was looking for:

“No, you cannot cut a barrel under 18.5 inch or it is prohibited but you could get a factory barrel and aslong as its over 26.5" OAL then is all good.”

Where the heck did you manage to find one?! I have searched everywhere but it seems someone has been buying up all the MP5 aftermarket parts there are!

You cannot cut a factory made barrel PERIOD. There is a reason we make 870, AR-15 and 10/22 barrels from scratch. It's not because we want to, it's because to cut down an existing one would be instant jail time for us, and we have a Business Firearms License as a MANUFACTURER. If we can't do it no one can !

There is just so much misinformation on this forum it simply astounds me. Guys, please, do yourselves all a huge favour and print off copies of both the Criminal Code of Canada firearm sections and the Canadian Firearms Act. Keep them in the bathroom and everyday read a page or two.

Very, very informative and might possibly keep you out of the klink.

Canadian gun law is ass backward, there is no rhyme or reason nor any logic to it. It is what it is, a cut down barrel is illegal but a newly manufactured 2 inch barrel isnt.
