You have the wrong link set up. It takes you to Savage Engage Hunter.

Due to the fact that there is no pistol that takes the mags, they're rifle mags. The 9mm hi point Pistol is prohib, thus not readily available so that loophole doesn't work... although I have heard the 9mm pistol mags don't work in the carbine anyways (they're too short, the 9mm pistol is a compact with a shorter grip than the carbine, at least that's my understanding.)

That said, we'll never see the 40 or 45 versions if nobody buys the 9mm, and the 40/45 carbines take the pistol mags which are 10 or 9rds... Im slowly getting closer to wanting one of these...

Well I bit the bullet and bought one! Had my first range trip with it this past saturday and I am so happy with it. For 500 dollars the overall feel of the gun is good, I like the iron sights and the trigger is much better than I had hoped. My father, brother and I were able to shoot around 3 moa with it at 25 and 50 meters and didn't experience any failures in the 110 rounds of CCI Blazer and Barnaul that we fired. Thanks North Pro!
