The Russians Have Landed! Mosin Nagants in Stock

I forgot what the wonderful smell of cosmoline was like after popping open a newly-arrived crate of surplus rifles.

Mosin Nagants have arrived at Select Shooting Supplies, in all their surplus glory. If you want to relive the joy of, or experience cleaning up a surplus rifle for the first time, this is the rifle for you.

Should have never sold mine. Paid 199 a few years ago. Buddy gave me a half crate of X54R and I sold the bundle for 400. I know they’ve gone up, I get it. Just still can’t get myself to buy one even though they will go up again on the future

Calibre Magazine produced a great piece regarding how surplus rifles and ammunition get to Canada a few years ago. Importation costs have increased. Have a read:

I had several chances to buy one for sub $200 . even though I know those days are over I can't justify paying double. I guess that's what separates me from a collector.

Man....I wish I bought one for $69.99 back in the day....
But I wish I'd have bought a Garand or 10 when they were a $400 rifle, too.
