Modern Sporter update Nov 12 2019 FURTHER UPDATE DEC 10

I closed the last thread on updates as there were too many pages to wade through to get any useful info. And it was getting very repetitive.

We are closing in on the end of machine work for production run #2 and expect to start on run 3 of lowers by the end of November.
We are still just as busy so do not have time to answer a bunch of "is mine ready yet" calls and emails everyday. We expect run 3 sets to start shipping out in late spring/early summer of 2020.

Also on that note there have been quite a few guys who placed deposits and have in the mean time sold their deposits to other parties. This is creating a HUGE amount of unnecessary work on our end trying to keep track of who sold what to whom and then go over all of their creds before we can ship.

Effective immediately we will NOT be partaking in the change of ownership between individuals. If you ordered a set we will be shipping it to you and you can then make whatever deal you want to with any prospective alternate buyers. A few changes was not too big a deal, but of late it has become a daily thing that is delaying us getting sets out to folks.

January 15th 2010 will be cut off date for run 3 production orders. What this means is orders in run 3 will start to ship out in spring of 2020 and will keep shipping out until probably mid summer of 2020.
Orders placed after January 15 2020 will start to ship out about this time in 2020.

Recognition and observation by a Canadian manufacturer.

"Also on that note there have been quite a few guys who placed deposits and have in the mean time sold their deposits to other parties. A few changes was not too big a deal, but of late it has become a daily thing that is delaying us getting sets out to folks."

I don't want to highjack your thread, but you've provided some insight into many thoughts going through the minds of 2 million gun owners, I'm sure.
Should I continue the wait, or should I be fearful of my purchase becoming prohibited? If so, should I cut my loss by reducing the risk and passing it onto someone else?

Particularly with the Damocles Sword of disarmament by the TURD and his sycophants (Orange and Green parties). Bill C-71 was bad enough, but the virtue signalling with Orders In Council and outright prohibitions being voiced by these socialists continues to damage our economy. Quotes from a friend of Pierre Trudeau (who was himself a self-proclaimed communist).

    1. “Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.” In short, the government that has the gun and is prepared to use them, has power far greater than the people it rules.
    2. "Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party." In short, disarm the people since the government is the only one that should have a gun and power that comes with it.

Frankly, Mao Tse Tung's quotes reflect the mindset of the Liberal Party of Canada when it comes to Canadians, our values and freedoms. It's worked in democratic countries (i.e.: Venezuela) and it's slowly turning this ship we call Canada into the storm. Subtle but effective.

I believe this is part of the equation but also believe that there are some guys who ordered several sets who are profiting on peoples impatience.
Canada's first infringement on firearms owners dates back to 1934 and has continued ever since. I distinctly recall having to hand a couple of rifles that the feds thought were too evil for us mere civilians to own on 2 separate occasions spaced a few years apart. This has been the overshadowing all of us in the gun culture have had to deal with as the government listens more and more to the left wing agenda of disarmament. Pretty much the same holds for the go fast car bunch but to a lesser degree. Drive something fast and hot, expect to get hassled more frequently by Johnny Handcuff.
If the constant threat of losing your personal belongings bothers a person that much, I suggest find a safer sport, you know like watching TV. If the rantings and shenanigans of the TURD 2.0 are not enough to truly bother ALL Canadians for many reasons we are in deeper shiite than I thought and owning firearms may be just what we all need.

The Yanks got it right 200 odd years ago when the Brits decided they wanted an unarmed bunch of serfs to inhabit North America, unfortunately Canada has been led down the path of sheep and now has to decide whether to give up that last breath of freedom maintaining tools or fight for their place in retaining some modicum of a free society.
With Billy B liar's plan only the criminal element will have the freedom to live as they wish to. Is this really wrong? Small wonder that all the gangs voted for the Turd? To live within an unarmed society really works in the criminals favor. Not ours!

I must be the odd duck because every time I’m told I can’t have something I want it even more, especially if it’s the .gov telling me so and especially when it comes to guns!

ATRS awnsered already to that question before : If you pay in full, you receive a S/N and they will work on your property. When you will have the Modern Sporter, its at your will if you want give it back to Turdeau or not. Since C71 have not the royal assent yet, your tyranny gov. won't know about your property. You're choice to comply or not.

If I was to order one today what would the lead time be?
