It may not be the prettiest thing, however .223 in a non restricted format at that price point is fantastic. This is contingent upon two factors.
1. Are these going to get the ban hammer from the current administration? For sure this format meets the criteria laid out in recent comments made by government with regards to what they want to ban. Semi auto, “assault rifle”
2. Are they going to be reliable. I have no experience with this manufacturer so I am not insinuating anything negative.
Such a frustrating time for gun owners and I am sure manufacturers too. I hope these are successful and that there is no imminent ban, or subsequent one, on semi auto sporting/hunting rifles of this style.

Smart move to seal up the receiver. Same should be done with the piston assembly - along the lines of either HK 416 or just copy original AR18 handguards. Not a fan of any part of the operating mechanism being exposed. Handguard definitely doesn't have to be that tall either.
Yeah. It looks 1000% better in the video vs what the picture shows.
