My first optic was a nikon... loved it so much, my second optic was a Nikon.Great glass.

I hope the warranty voucher (if needed) is straight cash and not credit for nikon products. I won't be buying anything they make from here on out if they want to pull this move with the scopes.

Weird, the nikon spur red dot is finally gaining serious traction. I love my P-223 and have 2 spurs. All great optics.
They compete with the cheaper Chinese and other countries, bet it's the higher price from Japan causing the changeIt seems its more of an economical issue. Rifle scopes are a tiny portion of their sales and its almost totally a North American market for them while their other products are worldwide. USA sales, apparently, have been quite soft.Its really quite hard to believe as, although we are one small independent retailer, the number of Nikon scopes we see go out is almost unbelievable.

I knew something like this up. Some sites saying "no longer available" and no re-stock for a long time had me wondering. Very sad day indeed.
Sad to hear, I have been using the Monarch 3 scopes on my lower priced range rifles, and they are great for the price.
only accurate guns are interesting
