We have been selling a lot since we posted this. Still a great selection but some models now sold out or selling out quickly.

Who cares what the warranty is like, they are fine products that rarely need warranty work from what I've heard. I'll be getting a prostaff rimfire scope on boxing week if they're still available.

Hard to know what we be left. Guys are all over the place with these. Some guys are upset and don't want a Nikon now, others are waiting for a 'deal' but most are buying now it seems before they are all gone. At least judging by the numbers we have sold since we posted this.

If the price is right, I might be interested in a shotgun slug scope for an eventual project down the line.

Wow. I feel lucky to have picked up a Nikon Prostaff last week.

So far it has performed great.

How so? Nikon doesn't make riflescopes nor are they made in Japan. Nikon, like many other brands these days, rebrands scopes from various OEM manufacturers in the Philippines, so not a lot of investment required on their end.

If this is true, who actually makes the Nikon branded scope? I knew they were made in the Philippines, but by who? Which OEM company?

If we can find out who, they should be available under a different name.
