What barrel did you start with? How did you get it into the sks profile to mount everything back on? Any modification to bolt? What was done to make it feed 223? Did you reuse the original gas system? Anything you think could still be improved?
I've on several occasions entertained the idea of rebarreling the sks, but there were so few people adventured this far to share their insights.
Pretty slick! I would be all over this if it was available.
An SKS action in 5.45x39 would be even more cool though.
