I bought one cause its a decent deal but watch out the description. If its a 5700 sportsman link. It might not be the elite applied ballistic. For that you need to pay a 190$usd firmware upgrade.

I have 5700 Sportsman and I use it with the Hornady 4DOF app on my phone. Not having the Elite functions isn't a big deal if you have it paired with another device.

Depends what you want to do. The elite would allows me zero offsets and custom curves to show directly in a Bushnell conx or Kilo BDX 3000.
That being said, the link sportsman is good for most people
