    Winter on the Prairies

I'm going to spend it waiting on my PAL to arrive and dreaming of a new gun come Spring.

I'm a new member from South Central Alberta (Red Deer) and I've joined because I want to get back into target shooting.
I had a few guns back in my 20s, but I haven't been a part of the sport for over 30 years. A friend took me out to the range a couple weeks back and I've caught the bug again.
It sure is a lot different now, my last experience was in getting an FAC in the 80s, a much simpler time it seems.

I look forward to reading all your posts and maybe getting some ideas on my first purchase sometime in 2020.

Hello from your home town just East of the Rocky Mountain Range brother D,,, glad to have you on board...

I was wondering if your the old IPsca shooter for the 1890's black powder pistol days... Ha

I remember hearing from the old timers that the old flint locks burp'ed just as many sparks out the bank as they would the front of the barrel... The trick was to never shoot into a head wind... LOL

I hope to cross paths with you some where along the way brother...

    Cheers from the North Don
