Or maybe their chance to show they are open and transparent political organizations that are more interested in tackling the real problems driving gun violence than squandering tax dollars policing a group that's contributing almost nothing to it. With costs that may approach half a billion dollars or more for the firearms alone plus due process costs and implementation as well as compensation for losses incurred by business may be enough to bring them on side.
