Yeah I'll give you that- for something that's been out for around a year not a lot of reviews/ info. I figured for the price its worth a shot.

Got mine today. Broke it all down to check it out. It’s not the same quality as the Ruger 10/22 takedown that I own, obviously.

It is a lot sturdier then the Henry AR7 I owned. I’m not sure the Henry survival rifle would have survived much.

Trigger is a bit funky. Safety is stiff. Magazines are thick and heavy - they look very sturdy.

The bag is nice. It could use a small pocket on the inside to hold mags. The inside of the bag has Molle in it.

It’s nice that the Molle is inside as it make the bag a little more innocuous - the Molle could hold a little pouch that could contain mags, keeping them separate from marking the finish on the rifle.

The bag has “SAVAGE” embroidered on it. Its not as recognizable a name as Ruger - looks like it could be a racket bag of some sort.

All in, I’m pleased. I’m not sure I’d spend more then $200 tho. That’s just me.

Spitting image of a Marlin Papoose. Wish I would have caught this sale.

Has anyone tried to put a red dot or scope on one of these yet ? If so what top mount base pair did you use ?

    I’m also wondering this.

10/22 rails abound, yet nothing apparent, and easily obtainable, in the way of a rail for the 64.

A link to amazon.ca with a rail that works would be appreciated.
