Sig sauer cross bolt action rifle

It is not described in the Frt .... The barrel still at 16" and the OAL is longer than in the original as listed 196719-2. I guess they made an agrement on a spacer between the hinge and the recever or they put à simple muzzle device.
The Frt updated the 18th .

Removal of the stock hinge...:stirthepot2:

422 most certainly refers to the barrel length in the FRT which is 5/8” longer than the original 16” which is in the FRT at 406mm. So they added something to the barrel. I wonder if that was enough or they also had to add a spacer on the stock. I guess we shall find out soon enough.

Good point. They didn't add anything then, just a longer barrel all together then. Devices etc wouldn't factor in to a barrel length.

Correct FRT is issued !
I read it yesterday!
196719-5 Non restricted!

This is interesting from Al Flaherty's who got stock today...

It doesn't actually look like anything was done. The extension on the stock for the folding mechanism is 26" away from the barrel. It just appears that on the specs they went to the back of the receiver but did not include the width of the mechanism on the folding stock.

It seems all they did was measure or remeasure and determine the overall length is not restricted. This is all fine, but then it doesn't make sense that there's a new entry in the FRT. Should the existing entry just be changed from restricted to non-restricted?

So will we end up with two entries in the FRT for the same rifle... one that says it's restricted and the other that says it's non-restricted?
