I’d be interested if NR, If restricted... not so much
One option would be to have a hinge where when folded a rear extension of the hinge is the added inch. Might appeal depending on how much barrel one regards as actually a plus, or if the hinge is cheaper to interrupt their manufacturing for that barrel length.

This would make an interesting Scout because the deal there was a 6.6 lbs rifle, and you would have optics options depending on rail positioning. Of course the Scout really should be 6.6 all up and pointable, but this might be better than some of the clunkers that have been released as Scouts, and you get a precision approach also.

The other option is to wait and see what Sig has done to make them all non-restricted as per the response above.

It’ll have a muzzle device threaded on.
    Problem solved without redesigning anything.

In talking with the different places who were offering the presale, there was no concise delivery date between them. One retailer said they were at customs and delivering this month, another said in a couple months, another said by summer 21. I didn't sign up with any as a result. Poor experience with previous presales won over.
If it's either loud, obnoxious, fast, hated by the general population or any combination of these, I OWN IT!!

Not sure on Canada but they are having issues and everything else with them in the states. Recalls and the list goes on, leaves me skeptical which is weird because Sig usually makes pretty decent stuff
