That seems like a crazy good deal.

For a Geissele branded product, I agree that the price looks reasonable! Only needs sights and a sling and it’s ready to go.

I was expecting a $5000 rifle when I opened this post.

I believe their entry level duty rifles are or were made from colt and DD parts. Now that the machine their own upper and whatnot, cuts out the middleman profit. Probably the reason why they are cheaper now.

There are not many companies that make real #### that can be used hard - Geissele is one. Whether it's SSF triggers in MK12 rifles, or URGI uppers, Geissele has made a name for themselves on the back of quality product.

A $330 trigger and a $400 rail even on the cheap rifle feels like a good deal to me YMMV. Geissele is in the business of making good stuff, not scrimping a few bucks to appeal to a price point. This is clear in the ALG line up - most of that isn't 'cheap' either, but it shows how Bill G cares about what the name goes on.

Why would the rest of the rifle be any less good than the parts mentioned? That would take a massive 180 from Geissele. It doesn't look like those parts are crappy 'mil-spec' mystery meat parts either.

    330 - trigger
    412 - rail
250 - upper and lower (Basic ##### Aero set goes for this much)
    90- Buffer/spring
150 - LPK and UPK (even a basic kit is this much)
    90 - Magpul CTR

We're at over $1320 here - still need the barrel ($300 +?), BCG ($250 min), buffer extension tube ($50+), flash hider, charging handle oh and gas tube. Yeah, and someone to put it together too, or at least the tools. Don't forget to stake everything properly.

What rifle do you think is a better deal than this? Not that I'll be buying that either, just curious.
