As far as I recall, all my many 1897 repros have been made at the same factory, the newest marstar ones are great, i also have a cimmaron marked one, same factory

At least it's a honest gesture towards the potential buyers. I think it's a refreshing change to actually admit that one is selling the crap. I would like to congratulate Durham Outdoors on their approach.

Just nabbed one. Was also looking into getting one, and was starting to think the price at Marstar for one was not too bad, then someone on another site mentioned they were available for 300, so I did a little bit or research and here I am!
