It was also the original released barrel length in 1955. The 4” version was introduced in 1960.

beautiful thing is if poor people or cheap people don't want to buy it they don't have to, for everyone else they can enjoy pride of ownership. some people are satisfied with chuck, others prefer prime rib (and are willing to pay for it).
