Hi does anyone know what the general wait time is for approval to join the equipment exchange? I am a brand new member, but I applied and posted an introduction. I am looking for a new scope and I am wondering whether it is worth it to wait, or just buy retail.
Mine took about a week. I hear it can be slower around the holidays, but it being the new year - it should be available any day now.

I joined 13 days ago, just posted my intro today. Still no access. I was confused at first but I suppose that I understand the reasoning behind it.
Be careful if you use a vpn. They have to be able to be confident that youre in Canada with a history of posting. We use a vpn on our home network because we do online bankiing etc. Was denied. Had to disable the vpn on our router and now have to create a history of non vpn use on the forum.
