maybe a millimeter on sides and bottom. Not enough to attach anything with m-lok where the can covers, like, not even enough clearance to get one of those magpul rubber m-lock rail cover strips in there.

    Has anyone shot one yet?

I'm super paranoid about not having it centered. I have it tight on a washer but giving the eye test it's impossible to tell how centered it is with such a small margin.

How much bigger is the center hole compared to the muzzle?

The center hole is 0.25" diameter, or about 0.026" bigger than the bullet, assuming this is a 5.56 barrel.

    We are designing these up.

We have a choice whether to expand the rear hole to allow for heavy (0.875" outer diameter) barrels. Anyone care to comment?

As it is now I would leave it at 0.765" to keep a small gap around 0.75" barrels which seem to be the majority of the .30 barrel options that we stock.

Well, it's great to have the option to fit it to a heavy barrel, but that might compromise the look on a standard barrel.
These are mostly for aesthetic compared to a normal linear after all.

I would hazard to guess those who run a heavier barrel are doing so for some special application like precision, and would be unlikely to want something like this.
