If one was to mount an ironsight on a rail on the front of the rifle, and use it with a rear on the receiver
I wonder how the sight plane alignment would workout. Can anyone attest to this?

It sucks being an early adopter. I love mine, but wish Ruger would sell just the cassis for us who jumped on early.
The whole Ruger parts (spare or otherwise) is just an awful experience, I feel your pain

It's funny you say this I just got a email back from Ruger asking that question. They pretty much said hard no to selling just the chassis . So Patience more chassis are going to come out. Look at all the stuff for the 10/22. It's all starting to trickle in from Merica
The new magpul backpacker stock looks pretty sweet, it's coming in Fall. That's what im waiting for.
A folding stock would actually make this the perfect gun. I would buy a second one.
