Didn't realize these were out. I'm in for one also if there is availability.

I've got a PC9 and an FX9. The Ruger is just a better gun. More reliable, eats anything without jamming, has less recoil because of a honking chunk of tungsten in the receiver and, as you can see from this thread, the flood of Ruger upgrades and mods is on the way. Plus, it's a takedown, which is just sexy.
The FX9 has the "AR Cool Factor" going on, but you can't modify the trigger (which is heavier and a bit gritty feeling, comparatively), or the charging handle (feels cheap and flimsy), etc., and (in my experience) it's somewhat more finicky as to what you can feed it, and more likely to jam and misfeed than the PC9. For the same money, buy the fancy Ruger. For less money, buy the original Fudd Ruger -- it's still a beautiful machine.
Just my opinion, since you asked.
This, my son, is a 1911, given unto us by the Lord through the wisdom of His prophet, John Moses Browning, that we might smite our enemies, and walk amongst them without fear.
I have the Fudd version of the PC9. I love that gun. Awesome, no jams. I wish this was a little cheaper, would of got this one that Als is selling. But still I am very happy.
I believe you can use AR triggers but with varying levels of reliability.
A friend dropped a PCC 9mm specific trigger from CMC Triggers into his FX-9 and it greatly improved the weight, reset, and gave a much crisper break.

With that said I still much prefer the Ruger takedown

Hey everyone it's been a hectic past 2 weeks. Our batches of the PC 9 with adjustable stock was sold out within hours. I'd ask everyone to put in their emails for notifications again, these are constantly on order but as of now we do not have a proper ETA to provide at the moment.
