Instead of the da 50 fitting a ar15 lower would it be possible to make them fit the stag 10 or bcl/troy 102 lowers instead?
I see the stag 10/102 as the most widely used and available nr lowers in the country. The draw for a relatively inexpensive entry into the world of the 50 bmg would be more attainable and attractive if it were to already fit on to one of the aforementioned lowers we have available currently without modifications to the upper.
I myself would likely buy an upper if I could just drop it onto a stag 10 lower.
I understand that this would require a new design of the reciever and a list of new problems but the draw to the inexpensive 50 bmg is the ability to take it to places other than a gun range without breaking the bank. The rocky rod and gun club and I'm sure many more nation wide prohibits the use of 50 bmg and is of no use to me and 12000 other members on a restricted ar15 lower. The 50 isnt even allowed on club property and people have been escorted out and had their membership revoked for having a 50 there.
So what say you canada ammo maybe a stag 10 / bcl 102 compatible upper would fill this niche very well and be recieved with gratitude
