Can you confirm that they are made in Germany?

There is no labeling on the inside of the bags. Allot of Euro items to not have labeling like the US gear (NSN numbers). We are going by the information provided from our contact who purchased the entire lot. Will ask them again on Monday.

Current usmc issue is the filbe. Thats an external frame.

Mystery ranch, lot of the mil stuff will use their nice frame, which is pretty much an external frame.

So no this deisgn is not only, not deprecated, its essentially still current issue

Maybe I wasn’t clear. External frames have a place, and are still commonly used in high end bags. And these modern bags perform very well. A stock ALICE pack on the other hand, is absolutely antiquated. And none of these manufacturers are using stock ALICE frames either. Many of them (down east, eberlestock) are using frames that are the same size and based on ALICE dimensions, but certainly not stock frames.

The bags were suppose to be in on the 31st but came a bit early. We will keep the promotion going unto the 31st. Most of the orders should be shipped today.

Spoken like a dude that has never rucked an alice pack. You comparison is like saying a modle T and a lexus are the same thing because they both have 4 wheels. Comparing an alice pack to mystery ranch is laughable

alice pack are not the best for sure but the first year and season i guided for barrenground caribou i was glad to have the frame to haul that meat. the reason im asking about them is if they re built like the older one they will make very good pack and very strong. not the best but for the price maybe hard to beat.

There is absolutely no comparison. ALICE weight hangs on your shoulder....exactly where it’s not supposed to. MR and other properly designed packs, the weight transfers to the hips where it’s supposed to.

I’d say if you’re dead set on an ALICE pack, look elsewhere. These don’t even look like they use US milspec materials, judging from the pics.
