Vickers Tactical slide stop for G43X and G48

Just installed the Vickers Tactical slide stop I ordered for my G48. I am very happy with the results and thought I would share.

I could not operate the flat, factory slide stop with my thumb. The Vickers replacement just has enough of a curve on it to give good purchase. It does not interfere with my holster.

In my opinion, this should replaces Glock's part in all G48s.

One interesting note, the trigger pin did not simply press out like in other models I have owned. Even pressing fairly hard, it would not budge. Then I found out the trick! If you press down on the inner part of the slide stop while pushing the trigger pin, the trigger pin will slide easily.

Link to the part on FOC'S website and below that, a link to a comparison photo.

The Vickers has been standard for me on every Glock I’ve ever owned, and it’s a great piece of kit.

That being said, I’m dying to get my hands on one of the Kagwerks versions.
I survived the gun control scare of 2013 and all I got was this t-shirt.......
    And 30 PMags, 5000 rounds of .223, 3000 rounds of 9mm, 5 BCG's, 5 stripped lowers, and a really pissed off wife.
