SHOT SHOW 2020: Winchester falling block 6.5 Creedmoor

Hi folks, will post more tomorrow, but for now, my highlight of the day.

Range day was great. Fremen and I tried to sample a little bit of everything. Winchester had only a few guns out. But this one... So. Much. Want.

Quick description: falling block, octogonal barrel, made by Miroku in Japan, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Recoil managed very efficiently with the butt pad. I shot from the bench at 200 yards, and hitting a standard hostage target with ease. A very pleasant gun.

Unfortunately, i think i understood this is a SHOT Show special, made to order. Hope a few buyers from Canada will ask for some...

This rifle is begging for a set of good long range open sights like a peep or a ladder.

I got a fever, and the only prescription is more handguns.

What’s not to like? It’s small, looks easy handling! And apparently better than the old 308.

I’m a huge fan of 308 for many reasons; but I recently made the switch to the creed and it’s unreal. For hunting paper it’s not even a comparison. People who think it’s still a fad are too close minded. It may be “over hyped” but there is a still a lot to be hyped about.

I can with confidence say that now, it's no longer a "fad". We shot more Creedmoor than any caliber during the media day.

    Bring back the falling block!

I’m super excited for some nice single shots.
