SHOT SHOW 2020: Winchester wildcat 22 LR Rifle

    Winchester Wildcat 22

Winchester's newest semi 22 to hit the market.
This is a fun fast and light weight 22 rifle.

Size: 11.1 KB

    Pro:
    4 pounds!
    Takes 10/22 mags
With wildcat mags has last shot bolt open
    Peep Sites
Easy toolless take down for cleaning
    Captive springs on bolt
clean from the back of the reciever
    Mag release options

    Cons:
    Alot of plastic
Concerns about plastic in key areas (take down and mag release)

Over all this will be a good plinking rifle. I am hoping to see the addtion on a youth model.
LOP is 13.5 inches so already short but may be long for kids.

That rifle on the wall of the laborer's cottage or working class flat is the symbol of democracy. It is our job to see that it stays there!

Thanks for sharing. I'm having deja vu to Shot Show 2019 when the Wildcat originally debuted, and I placed my order for one. A year later and I'm still waiting for it, lol. Come on Winchester!

So it's a Winchester 10-22 wanna be. I will just stick with my Ruger.

I think the only thing it has in common with a 10/22 is the mags.

I wonder if the Wildcat rifle will be the only semi .22 to work with Wildcat ammunition?

These have been out for awhile, from what I've read the accuracy is abysmal and the stock feels like a cheap airsoft toy. If you want a 10/22 that's not a Ruger 10/22, the Thompson Center TCR-22 is apparently the same design as the 10/22, but with lots of improvements.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but would wildcat mags work in a 10/22 and hold open last round?
