    Really nice looking rifle but ya totally lost me at 8+lbs. I just don't get why anyone would make a hunting rifle that heavy. If it were under 6.5lbs I would be interested.

    Is the price for the carbon Price $3691.95 a pre order special or is that the regular price?

    Confused by what you mean by retail price

    If the carbon fiber barrel is supposed to be for weight saving why is it the same weight as the steel barrel version ? on the spec sheet anyways.

    You're correct, that is what the spec sheets show. I can't tell you what was intended, and we haven't seen these in person yet but have several on order
