Wanna bet? J/k, bought one and will report when I get it, but so far every magazines is 9 rounds to operate correctly on a closed bolt in my AR. If yours work reliably I might dump every mag I own on the EE and stock up on yours. At 55$ for 20 rounds, it's a fair price per round.
MFT won't run 10 closed on 2 of mine. RRA metal will sometimes run 10 but the charging handle 'really' needs to be yarded on to move the bolt back. This is after whacking the mag hard to get it to lock in place.
My LGS is getting a load of the Cross mags shortly. I'll be grabbing a few "just because" and hope they run 10 with no issues on a closed bolt.
"No matter where you go - there you are"
Let us know how they run for you guys!
If you find that all of your mags won't seat on a closed bolt it is likely that there are some tolerance stack up issues between different features on both the lowers and uppers. Many lowers have out of spec bolt catch and mating plane relationship, likewise many uppers have incorrect bore to mating plane relationship. Then you add a variety of different companies pinning mags all a bit differently from each other and you end up with people having widely varying success.
All 8 (4 pairs) of mine seat on a closed bolt. Tried them in 3 rifles.
My two pairs seat full mag perfectly and runs perfectly
One possible accessory you guys might want to add;
A slip-on cover for the bottom magazine. For those who aren't doing the flip reloads.
Something like this, but a bit nicer looking.

As Tapco found out, the demand isn't there to make it financially viable.
