Ok now things are getting interesting...
You know you are a real gunnut when you start practicing trigger control on power tools.

OK, if you are not set up with the auction you can send an email to info@rockislandauction.com and they will set you up with an account so you can bid.

Subsequently, you can call 1-800-238-8022 and one of the fine ladies there will guide you through the process.

Once you have won the auction you will need to fill out the form located at this link https://irunguns.ca/import_process.p...n-us-to-canada

Rock island will give you an invoice made out to IRUNGUNS that you will forward to admin@irunguns.ca to which you will receive wiring instructions. This information is also located at the above link.
We have a wiring account with the auction so the transaction will be streamlined and painless.

We will look after everything else. Importation, brokerage, transfer if it's restricted and final shipping to your residence.

the cost is 200.00 Canadian funds for the importation and brokerage per firearm
25.00 Canadian funds for flat rate shipping to Canada.
Please keep that in mind when bidding.

Thereafter there is GST of 5% on the Canadian value and Canadian shipping to your door through Canada Post. Items that do not qualify for the NAFTA or USMC treaty will be subject to duty though CBSA.

Do not bid on Belt fed firearms, converted autos or machine guns and firearms with original origins from either Russia or china can not be exported.

    Good luck and happy bidding.

Thx for the reply, you explained it perfectly. Going to have to keep an eye out for stuff, I've wanted but can't find here. Cool system indeed.

Yes you can use Rock Island Auctions to sell your prohibs or collectors pieces. You will need to reach out to Amber at 928-505-6794 to confirm their admissibility into the US. If she gives you the green light you are good to go.

If there are bayonets with the firearms, do I have to pay for the importation of bayonets?

    Thanks you

No, the accessories or optics that come with the firearms will be included.
