I'm going to throw the 12" in a BCL tomorrow as it is a mid-length gas system and will look very different.

If you send back the 14", I'll exchange the rail.... keep the installation parts bag, just send back the wrapped rail...

You pay to ship to me, I pay to ship to you... no harm, no foul...

Just make sure you put a note in the box so they know what the heck to do when my guys get the box.... ;-)

There are way to many "mystery boxes" in the warranty area already.... :-(

Seems like the barrel to receiver interface is a bit bigger than spec on mine.... Tried a few different barrels (IBI Match, Odin Works match and Faxon) and all needed to be shimmed to have a tight fit... Unless this is normal procedure? I cut a coke can and wrapped the entire circumference of the barrel and now it's a tighter fit... The receivers are well made, the match in colour and the surfaces all match together. It's nice they also have a receiver tension set screw hole.

I found the same thing yesterday. But, to be honest, shimming barrels is a good practice and my barrel extension mic'd out to be 3 thou under size. There's a total of 8 thou play - the popcan is .004" thick and snugged it right up. I think the upper is probably just at the top end of tolerances. I don't have an inside micrometer to check.
